Clock Hand Styles

Our clock hands are finished to the highest possible standards. Designs are precision cut in either Stainless Steel or Aluminium using the latest in water jet and laser technology.
To ensure the hands are rigid enough to withstand the daily beating of wind and rain they are formed to create a strengthening rib down the centre. Each hand is then carefully balanced to ensure they cause minimum wear to the mechanism.
Once ribbed and balanced our hands are generally powder coated for added protection, prior to being hand finished with the finest 23 1/2 carat gold leaf. Hands can be supplied with a brushed or polished surface or sprayed in any BS or RAL colour if required.

Dial Specific
Some of our clock deisgns come with dial specific hands.
For example our Medieval style clock has a sun and a moon on the hands, whereas our Mackintosh style clock has rectangular hands to suit the angular clock face.
These hands are as shown on the individual clock pages.
